Mothers Day FO's

Friday, May 15, 2009 at 12:52 a.m.
I made my mommy two pairs of socks!

Socks the first:

plain socks
Yarn: Regia
Needles: 2.5

Socks the second:

Pattern: Evening Stockings for a Young Lady (rav) From Vintage Socks
Yarn: Tanis Fibre Arts Fingering Weight
Needles: 2.5mm

Mommy liked them, and I got them done in time! (it was hairy there for a while!)
I like my socks simple. I do a lot of streetcar knitting, and TV knitting, and I like to be able to do both. These lacy socks were a good choice- they were very easy to memorize.
Currently, I'm working on Spring Forwards from Knitty, also in Tanis (which is a dream to knit with) and have started a fair-isle yoked pullover of my own design featuring bunnies (!)
